Eventellect is a software enabled service company working with seventy+ professional and collegiate sports teams to help unify their single game sales strategy using our proprietary software platform.  The goal is to ensure that fans – wherever they shop for tickets - see the right inventory at brand appropriate prices to optimize revenue, attendance, and brand equity.  Our software team is rapidly expanding as we continue to evolve our platform to meet the fast-paced demands of the sports and ticketing industries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a plan for increasing test coverage in the existing codebase

  • Design testing strategies for new development to ensure requirements are met and issues are caught before they hit production

  • Help build out CI/CD pipelines to ensure tests exist and are run appropriately

  • Work with other team members to execute testing plan

  • Mentor team members to share your knowledge and experience

  • Influence the testing, development, and release processes with your own proven approach

  • Participate in sprint planning and estimation

  • Proven experience as a test automation developer creating testing strategies for complex platforms

  • Excellent understanding of software testing and programming principles

  • Desire to learn new technologies and skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; agility in a high-paced work environment

Qualifications

  • BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics

  • Experience with C# or comparable object-oriented programming language

  • Experience with testing frameworks like NUnit, xUnit, and MSTest

  • Experience writing integration test scripts for APIs and services

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

  • CI/CD pipelines and processes

  • Sonar Qube or another tool for continuous code analysis

  • Writing and testing Docker containers

  • Microsoft Azure app services, function apps, service bus, etc.
